This policy applies to all TechSnapper Digital Gift Cards purchased through https://techsnapper.com

 


1. General Information

TechSnapper Digital Gift Cards are electronic prepaid cards that can be used to purchase eligible products on our website.

Gift cards:

  • Are issued digitally and delivered by email
  • Are redeemable online only at https://techsnapper.com
  • Are issued in Australian Dollars (AUD) and may only be redeemed in AUD
  • Are non-reloadable
  • May be used across multiple transactions until the balance is exhausted
  • Are not redeemable for cash

By purchasing or using a gift card, you agree to the terms of this policy.

 

2. Compliance with Australian Consumer Law

TechSnapper gift cards comply with Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under consumer guarantees.

 

3. Purchase of Gift Cards

Availability

  • Gift cards are available for purchase on our website
  • Available to Australian customers only

Denominations (Amounts)

Gift cards are available in fixed denominations (amounts) as displayed on our website.

Values cannot be changed after purchase.

Payment Methods

Gift cards may be purchased using the payment methods shown at checkout.

 

4. Delivery of Digital Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are delivered electronically by email
  • Delivery occurs shortly after successful payment
  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate recipient details

TechSnapper is not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect email addresses.

 

5. Validity and Expiry

All TechSnapper gift cards are valid for 36 months from the date of issue, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

The expiry date and issue date are clearly displayed in the gift card email and at the time of purchase.

Any unused balance after expiry will not be redeemable.

 

6. Fees and Charges

TechSnapper does not charge any post-supply fees, including:

  • Inactivity fees
  • Account keeping fees
  • Balance enquiry fees
  • Administrative fees

 

7. Redeeming Gift Cards

Gift cards may be redeemed at checkout on https://techsnapper.com

Usage Rules

Gift cards:

  • Can be used for eligible products, shipping, and applicable taxes
  • Cannot be used to purchase other gift cards
  • Can be combined with other accepted payment methods
  • Can be combined with multiple gift cards in a single order

If the order total exceeds the gift card balance, the remaining amount must be paid using another payment method.

 

8. Balance Management

  • Gift cards are partially redeemable
  • Remaining balances may be used until expiry
  • Gift cards cannot be reloaded or topped up

Balances can be checked by applying the card at checkout or contacting support.

 

9. Refunds and Returns

Gift cards are non-refundable once issued.

Purchases Made Using Gift Cards

If a product purchased using a gift card is returned and approved under our Refund & Returns Policy:

  • The approved amount will be issued as store credit
  • Cash refunds are not provided

Consumer guarantee remedies are provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

 

10. Lost, Stolen, or Misused Gift Cards

Gift cards should be treated like cash.

If your card is lost or stolen, contact us immediately.

If any portion of the gift card has already been used, whether by you or by a third party without authorisation, that amount cannot be recovered.

Replacement may be considered at our discretion for any remaining unused balance, provided the card has not been fully redeemed and proof of purchase is available.

 

11. Fraud Prevention and Misuse

TechSnapper reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or cancel gift cards suspected of fraud
  • Refuse redemption where misuse is identified
  • Conduct investigations where necessary

This is to protect legitimate customers and the integrity of our platform.

 

12. Business Interruptions

If circumstances beyond our control restrict the use of gift cards for an extended period, TechSnapper will provide a reasonable remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

 

13. Transferability

Gift cards may be gifted to another person.

Once transferred, the gift card becomes the responsibility of the holder, and TechSnapper is not responsible for its use by the original purchaser or the recipient.

 

14. Limitations

Gift cards:

  • Are intended for personal use only
  • Cannot be resold commercially
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Cannot be used for unlawful purposes

 

15. Changes to This Policy

TechSnapper may update this policy from time to time. The most current version will always be published on our website. Continued use of gift cards constitutes acceptance of any updates.
