Refund policy

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW RIGHTS
Under Australian Consumer Law, you have guaranteed consumer rights that cannot be excluded. If goods are faulty, not fit for purpose, or don't match description, you are entitled to a remedy including repair, replacement, or refund.
VOLUNTARY RETURNS (Change of Mind)
Return Period: 14 days from delivery date
Condition Requirements:
- Items must be unused, unworn, and in original condition.
- Original packaging and tags must be intact and undamaged.
- Must include original receipt or order confirmation.
- Items must pass our quality inspection upon return.
- No signs of wear, damage, or alteration.
Return Shipping: Customer pays all return shipping costs.
Restocking Fee: 15% restocking fee applies to all change-of-mind returns.
Processing Time: 10-14 business days after inspection.
Refund Method: Store credit only (no cash refunds for change of mind).
Exclusions: Sale items, clearance items, and items purchased with discount codes are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
MANDATORY REFUNDS (Consumer Guarantees)
You are entitled to a full refund if products:
- Are faulty or defective.
- Don't match the description provided.
- Are not fit for the purpose they were sold for.
- Have major failures under Australian Consumer Law.
We pay return shipping for all mandatory refunds.
No restocking fees apply to consumer guarantee claims.
HOW TO RETURN ITEMS
- Contact us first: Email help@techsnapper.com with your order number and reason for return.
- Wait for authorisation: Do not send items back without a return authorisation number.
- Return address: Will be provided with your return authorisation.
- Include: Original packaging, receipt/order confirmation, return authorisation number.
- Tracking: Use trackable shipping method with insurance for valuable items.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
- Digital downloads and software
- Personalised, customised, or made-to-order items.
- Items damaged by misuse, normal wear, or customer negligence.
- Hygiene products (if opened or used).
- Items returned without authorisation.
- Items returned after the specified return period.
REFUND PROCESSING
- Inspection: All returns are subject to quality inspection.
- Timeframe: 5-10 business days after receiving and inspecting return.
- Location impact: Remote areas may take additional 2-3 business days.
- Notification: Email confirmation when refund is processed.
- Rejected returns: Items not meeting return conditions will be returned to customer at their expense.
EXCHANGES
- Exchanges for different sizes or colours are subject to the same conditions as returns.
- Customer pays shipping costs for exchanges.
- Exchanges are processed as a return and new purchase.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you receive damaged or incorrect items:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Provide photos of the damage or incorrect item.
- We will arrange collection or provide a prepaid return label.
- Full refund or replacement provided at no cost to you.
